To me, Colleen’s painting is reminiscent of art work done during the wonderful Coney Island beach days of the 1920’s. I love the thick application of blues, yellows, pinks, and creams of her seashore palette. The composition divides the painting in such an irregular and playful way. It’s a delightful painting!
